Northampton is more than just a town; it’s a living, breathing mosaic of human stories. From the barista who knows your coffee order to the road sweeper who keeps our streets clean, it’s the people—regular, everyday people—who make Northampton tick. That’s why I am thrilled to announce my new personal project: The Human Tapestry.
What is The Human Tapestry?
The Human Tapestry is a celebration of the people who make Northampton what it is. This isn’t about politicians or public figures; it’s about you. Whether you’re a solicitor, a shopkeeper, a teacher, or a bus driver, your story matters. Through a series of portrait photographs, I aim to highlight the real faces behind Northampton—your faces.
This is a labor of love, an effort to reshape perceptions of our town by showing the authentic, vibrant community that makes it so special. Each portrait will tell a story, weaving together a rich tapestry of who we are as a town.
Who Can Participate?
Absolutely anyone who feels connected to Northampton and wants to be part of this project, though this is aimed at the people rather than the politicians etc. It’s free to take part—all I ask is that you sign a simple model release so your image can be featured in this series.
