When Jodie came to me for a boudoir shoot she was adamant that she wasnt over photoshopped to not look like her. This was her post baby boudoir shoot and she wanted to feel comfortable in her skin without the excessive photoshopping you can see in some boudoir shoots. Not my style anyway but I knew exactly what she meant. The images had to look like her and not her head on an unrecognisable body. Jodie needn’t have worried. Post baby or not she looked sensational. Confident and strong she carried out the shoot with poise and sass I would expect from a professional model. A delight to work with and an honour to photograph.

Boudoir photography has been around for many many years and unlike glamour where it is somewhat voyeuristic in is style, boudoir is personal and about the person themselves. Boudoir can be a most intimate affair with an air of mystery and tease.

Keen to show off Jodie’s shape, we opted for this pose with nice soft lighting. I love this image a great deal. She is a beautiful mother, wife and woman.
