Often a client comes to me wanting to do a boudoir photo shoot for much more than simply to obtain some images. Lulu Macaroon is a beauty on the burlesque scene and this shoot was to document a change and a confirmation in her life. Proof if ever that as a photographer, you arent simple capturing images. Its more about snap shots of someone’s existance.

Boudoir photo shoots can come in many forms. Lulu was after a more stylised shoot with more emphasis on her personality than simply sexy lingerie. To be honest though, she could have worn a bin bag covered in rotten cabbage and it would look amazing on her. She exudes beauty.

The styling, finish and poses were inspired by the likes of Rolling Stone, GQ, FHM and more high end mags but always showing her personality, the rock n roll side of her. A nice break from her usual glam pinup/vintage burlesque photos.
