As the year draws to a close, the last of my weddings booked in come to an end…before the flurry for next year that is. Whilst the popularity of summer weddings has never slowed, I love seeing autumn winter days. The low light that allows for romantic shots in the dark, the twinkling lights being more visible and who doesn’t love fire pits!?

Even the sun setting sooner means that whilst we need to keep an eye on timings more, you get beautiful light earlier so you don’t need to sneak out of meet and greets to capture it. Yes there is more chance of rain but I love kisses in the rain (provided I’m under an umbrella).

So to all my brides and grooms worried their day wont be magical if its in the darker months, rest assured I got you. Just because Winter is drawing in, doesnt mean your images have to be less romantic or less wow. I may have to set up more lighting but I always have that in my bag.
