Recently if you have been following my snapchat  (Khandie Khisses)  or instagram (@KhandiePhoto) you will notice I have been on my travels about the UK doing photo shoots. I hightailed it in the motor up the M6 to Shirley near Birmingham to photograph a lovely family. Louise was after a family portrait shoot that was about the family unit, their relationships and personalities. NO white studio backgrounds. Kids being kids. Granddad being Granddad and Dad with his awesome music.

Family portrait sessions can be a bit samey if you dont really put the effort in and thankfully here at Khandie Photography, I refuse to shoot family after family the same way. Each one of them are so different why should they be placed in front of a somewhat sterile background in a studio and me click like a crazed thing to get photos…instead I simply moved about the guys as they went about their antic. Even got a cheeky cheese toastie from the mum. Nice!

I really enjoyed this session. I have to say, they were awesome and the kids are very talented. Nice to see siblings getting a long so well.  Dad has the most amazing record collection with some serious cool records in amongst them. I noticed a few not so cool…but what dad doesnt have those?
