And now for something slightly different from Khandie Photography….

There is something so lovely about taking an afternoon off to do nothing. Nothing but hang out, watch trash tv and relax with a coffee. I work most days and I love it but stolen moments such as an afternoon off is magical. I spent the afternoon off with someone awesome recently. Nothing more than relaxing with coffee and laughing lots. He smoked cigarettes (yuck) and pretended he was Steve McQueen (he isnt).

Taking time out to relax is important to refocus and keep the passion of what you like alive.

Enjoy some entirely candid and natural light images. The tones and contrast lending itself to the chilled afternoon. It is so nice every now and again to step out of the Khandie Photography studio and work with nothing more than natural light. Its beautiful. Perfect. Just like my afternoon.

That winning smile… I cant tell you what made him smile but he probably made a joke himself and laughed. He is THAT guy: laughs at his own jokes.

It is quite comical to see him pull a face like this one. That ‘Dad face’, the disapproving one. I love it.
