So I hightailed it up to Wakefield recently to shoot some of the Lipgloss Production ladies as part of an event orgainised by the team. Because of distance and not being 100% certain of the location specs I went up with my light studio kit (flash guns etc). On arrival, I was surprised to see glorious light spilling into the shoot area from large windows so for the most part (may be the odd bit of filler light) all the portraits were shot with natural light.

Natural light is incredibly flattering and beautiful. The girls were stunning thanks to the amazing makeup team. Each lady had her own style and desires for the shoot so I had to work hard to achieve each one’s looks. Thankfully they all seem to love the edited images, as do I.
