Easter didnt see me scoffing my face with chocolate sadly. I had no eggs to munch and I have to say I didnt miss it too much. Ok I did. Thankfully a shoot with a professional skateboarding superstar aka Lee Blackwell took my mind off it. Ok…marginally. Man, I really want chocolate. So having thought Felixstow would make for interesting backgrounds, what with the beach and somewhat ramshackle appearance of some of the buildings, we found a little busy, spending more time dodging kids on scooters than shooting at some points. So we hightailed it to a lovely nearby river to catch the last of the sun and as a rainstorm came in. The lighting was perfect for some moodier natural light portrait shooting. Another awesome ‘Man Hunt Session’ for the collection but also nice to step out of the studio and work with natural light.

Something very quintessentially British about beach huts…and sadly the litter. Kept that in deliberately.

We headed to a second location as noticed the light was fading fast but also there was a potential storm heading our way. Would make for amazing lighting and background….

The decaying boat house was an amazing find. The storm started to roll in now…

Those clouds though…wow. The wind picked up and the clouds kept rolling in.
