I have two dogs: Elvis-Houdini and Miss Pickles, so I am often out on walks and running amok. With the weather being a little hit and miss, they are seeming to be less willing to go outside. However doggies must be walked so we push on. One rather wet and VERY foggy Sunday morning I thought I would take the camera and have some fun. I strapped the smaller of my cameras to one of my dogs and took a photo at their level.
You can see the haze the fog has placed on everything which makes it look very mystical. Make me want to do a wedding shoot or something.
Anyway I tend to always have some sort of camera with me, be that a film (35mm or 120) or my digitals (Nikon usually) where ever I go. You never know what you will see, plus you can always practise. I tend to have a 50mm fitted to my DSLR.
I managed to capture some guys playing local football in the mist. I wish I had another lens with me to get a bit closer but its ok. I like it. Plus I was able to play with negative space. The fog really softened the light.
