Product Photography – Watch and Shoes
Its been an age since I shared some good old fashioned product shoots. So here is some new ones for you. A Tag Heuer watch and some fabulous hand crafted men’s brogues. I do love how leather ages and given that my studio is in Northampton, the home of shoes its only right I include a pair.
Product photography needn’t be a simple white background but perhaps a more stylised, personalised shoot. I love how creative you can be with it. Its a walking advert for your product, not just photography. People need to be engaged from the get go so pick wisely when it comes to product photography.
The shoes were photographed on the old factory stairs to my studio. I love the grain of the wood, the rich textures and the lovely contract between the tones. Northampton is famous for it’s shoes so its rather fitting that I should photograph some, not to mention my studio is in a former shoe factory.
This is a bit inspired by another shot I saw but I put my own twist on it. Its an old Tag Heuer that seemed to just fit with the surrounding rawl plugs.
