Published Again – Wedding Photographer
Boom! Now you all know here at Khandie HQ we love our wedding clients right?! We love love love weddings. Being a wedding photographer is one the best jobs we do. So when Heidi from The Wedding Scene contacting me to not only shoot for the magazine but also write an article for the wedding magazine. I jumped at the chance.
Heading to the Courtyard Stanwick Hotel in Stanwick (god its lovely there, their manager is super lovely) on a very bright and warm day, I arrived with my big camera bag and was eager to get started. The models were already in hair and makeup so I went scouting locations and got my kit ready.
Weddings arent about clicking the button. Its the whole package: the love, the details, the relationship and so much more. I was keen to ensure my shots from the shoot really showcased my style of photography. Being a wedding photographer can be pretty cut throat. So many people claim to be one but few I feel look beyond their profit margin and about creating the life long images. Dont even get me started on those who offer the world for £150 and give you slops. I have had many a bride in my studio pop in to ask me to recreate their wedding images. 🙁 Always look at photographers based on their work…then price.
Anyway I digress.
The shoot was amazing and I loved it. A long day but boy was it fun.
I was in Sainsbury’s yesterday and happened to spot the wedding magazine in the stands. It is a free magazine from local Northamptonshire supermarkets. Quite proud to be a featured wedding photographer and a published writer. I know my clients have already spotted my work so thats good.
