Sometimes I like to go back and look at old photos I have taken. Be that of clients or just out and about on my travels. I like to compare my skill set but also how my personal taste and style has developed.
Many moons ago before I fell in love with Nikon, I was gifted a very old Pentax digital camera to use. I headed up to Whitby with a then boyfriend to have a mooch about. Going by my camera details on the images…I think it was sometime in October 2012. COLD! I was still very much the amateur back then and actually knew NOTHING about the camera settings. I sort of self taught as I went along.
The images were all a little hit & miss and my post production lives a little to the imagination. Sadly I have lost the original files so only had the low res jpegs to work with but I thought I would re-edit them. That spelt issues from the get go as the images I had to use were as they were already edited. EEKK.
The left image is the original. The right is the newly edited one. I have to say I am not sold on them all but it is about learning and continually learning.
