Shooting weddings and vow renewals are brilliant. Fact. However when a fellow photographer you HUGELY admire asks you to shoot her vow renewal…I did hesitate to say yes. I was bricking it. Claire Seville is hands down one of those amazing photographers who just knows her market, her craft and is a total dream to boot. Her fella Chance and their beautiful daughter really make up the perfect team and family. Chance looks at Claire like he falls in love with her again every time. That stuff is fairy tale magic…
So yeah I agreed. And I bloody loved every damn moment of it. Starting at her home before heading to the Electric Cinema, Birmingham. A great find of a venue. Challenging to work in but who doesnt love the odd bit of grey matter being tickled to push yourself?
Firstly can we take a moment to take in Claire’s hair and THAT JACKET!!!!! Her makeup artist arranged it for her. Holy Batman , it is awesome. I am wanting one so bad. Not sure what I would put on it…Manual before Auto?
Claire and Chance are 10 years married, so it was the perfect time for a vow renewal. We even got to watch their original wedding video from their big day in New York. Even I cried!!!
The best families know how to have fun together. These know EXACTLY how to laugh and love together. I think the cool kids would refer to it as ‘life goals’. I concur with that sentiment.
