I’m incredibly honoured and humbled to share that I won Inspiration of the Year 2024 at the Ex Forces in Business Awards last Thursday night! 🎉✨

This recognition is truly a testament to the incredible journey I’ve been on for quite some while, and I couldn’t be more proud to represent the amazing community of veterans transitioning into business. The Ex Forces in Business Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of former servicemen and women, and to be recognised among such a talented and dedicated group is beyond humbling.

I was fortunate to be recognised for my work teaching at Headway, a Centre for Adults with Traumatic Brain Injuries, where I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals regain their independence and rebuild their lives. Additionally, my volunteer work with Remember My Baby has been profoundly rewarding, capturing precious moments for families in times of loss.

Running numerous courses and workshops that allow people of all abilities to join has been a passion of mine. Creating inclusive environments where everyone feels welcome and empowered to learn and grow has been one of my most fulfilling endeavors.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to my family, friends, and colleagues who have supported me every step of the way. Your unwavering encouragement and belief in me have been my driving force. To my fellow nominees, you are all inspirations in your own right, and I am honoured to stand alongside you.
