The weather here has taken a turn for the miserable and that often means studio photo sessions only right!? Nope. This is me folks. I love never restricting myself in terms of photography and thankfully the wonderful Amanda has the EXACT same mindset. So on a cold mid winter afternoon in Northampton, we left my photo studio and headed out in to the country park.

The first part of the shoot was using this superb tulle gown amongst the woods. It was a very ethereal look to the session. So lovely. Even managed to break out my Twist 60 and Control Freak lenses from Lensbaby to get some interesting effects.

The second part of the shoot reminded me those editorials you see of actresses in those swanky magazines. Something high end but still with a nod of personality and femininity. Very movie star.

I love sessions like this. I love balancing the more artistic creative side with the more classic and yet both meld into each other effortlessly.
